3. Advisory Services

3.1 Nature of the service

Andalan provides business advisory services to small business owners in Malaysia. Our role is to offer considered perspectives, structured reflection, and practical suggestions. We are advisors, not decision-makers. The decisions you make in relation to your business remain entirely your own.

3.2 Engagement agreement

A formal advisory engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing (including by email) to the scope, fees, and timeline. These terms apply to all engagements unless a separate written agreement supersedes them.

3.3 Service packages

Our current advisory offerings are:

• First Shoot Review (RM 580): One session and a written summary
• Standing Together Advisory (RM 1,290): Two working sessions, a written plan, and one follow-up review
• Whole Grove Programme (RM 2,010/month): Monthly sessions, a shared plan, and considerate support between meetings

Fees and package details may change from time to time. The fees applicable to your engagement are those confirmed in writing at the time of agreement.

4. Fees and Payment

• Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
• Payment terms will be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of each engagement
• For the Whole Grove Programme, fees are charged on a monthly basis; the first payment is due before the first session of each month
• We reserve the right to pause or conclude an engagement if payment is not received within the agreed timeframe
• We will provide a receipt or invoice for all payments received

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 By the client

• Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional charge
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be counted as a session delivered at our discretion
• For the Whole Grove Programme, cancellation of the ongoing arrangement requires 30 days' written notice

5.2 By Andalan

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Where we cancel a session, we will offer a replacement at a mutually agreeable time at no additional cost.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared during advisory sessions with care and discretion. We will not share details of your business situation, finances, or plans with any third party without your prior consent, except where required by law.

We may refer to engagements in anonymised, general terms for the purpose of professional development or when describing the nature of our work. No identifying details will be disclosed without your explicit written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our advisory services represent considered professional perspectives. We take care in the guidance we offer, but we cannot accept liability for business outcomes resulting from decisions you make on the basis of our advice.

• Andalan's total liability in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid for that specific engagement
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or unforeseen losses arising from the use of our advisory services
• We make no representations about future business performance, market conditions, or outcomes
• Information provided on this website is general in nature and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under Malaysian law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, structure, and branding — is the property of Andalan Business Consulting and may not be reproduced without written consent.

Written outputs produced during your engagement (session summaries, plans, and reports) are prepared for your use. You may use them freely for your business purposes. Andalan retains no ongoing rights to documents once delivered, though we retain copies for our own records in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law
